Mammography is the most up-to-date imaging and is the only way to detect breast lesions, diseases, and indirect signs in time and successfully cure them at an early stage. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in the world and the first most common in women, so mammographic screening is required for women over 40 each year.

Regular self-examination is very important, but it is not a substitute for screening. With this special X-ray technique, we can detect even the smallest changes in the soft parts, which is key, because the earlier the stage is diagnosed, the more successfully it can be cured.

Mammography screening is especially important if you have a family history of breast cancer, overweight, alcohol abuse, smoking, hormone replacement therapy, or women who are childless or over 35 years of age.

It is important to know that the disease occurs in both sexes, so in case of a complaint, the test is recommended for men as well.
